For six days straight I was caught in hell. By hell I mean locked up, tortured by loud incessant noise, and left alone. At the time I didn’t know exactly what was going on, but each day after I was let out of the master suite, the furniture was not where it was supposed to be, and the floor had a different texture. One day most of the floor went from carpeted to half rough, half hard wood. The next, most of the floor was hard wood, and a little bit was rough. Yet another day, almost the entire first floor was hard wood, but the lower stairs were screwy. By day five everything on the first floor was hard wood. I thought it was all over. Boy was I wrong. On day six I was locked in the downstairs office - this time with no litter box (I made my human pay for that mistake - hehe). At least when I was locked upstairs I had food and a litter box. Anyhoo, when I came out from my prison, the carpeting on the second floor, which I had taken such great pains to leave my vomit marks on, was gone. New carpeting was there instead. I have my work cut out for me leaving my mark on this new carpeting. I’ll have to make sure I work up a really good slimy hairball.
11 months agoFrom coughing to sneezing
For a long time I was having coughing & wheezing fits. First, just once in a while, then more frequently, up to 7 times a day. My human took me in for some tests to rule out parasites and other potentially serious (fatal) causes. It turns out I have kitty asthma. So every other day I get a dose of an oral steroid to keep the inflammation down in my bronchii. I heard that I might need to use an inhaler - yeah, right - like that was a possibility! I get so wriggly when my human tries to force medicine into my mouth- there’s no way I would allow an inhaler to be used on me. Anyway…the coughing has stopped, but last week I started sneezing. Geez, I can’t catch a break here! So off to the vet we went, AGAIN. Probably caught a little bug from my immune system being a little weakened from the steroid treatment. Add antibiotics to the list of medications for the next week. Hopefully that will do the trick and I can relax and get back to being my normal cute self.
1 year agoBoy did I have fun chasing those little white fluffy things! Did my human have to taunt and tease me when I finished playing? Granted this was like the 5th time I begged to go out and then wanted to come back in 2 minutes later. Still, was it necessary to make fun of me?!

I spent Monday at the vet - yeah, my favorite place :-( It started out sucky and got worse. First a distemper vaccination, then everything got hazy…next thing I know I’m missing a tooth! OK so they cleaned the rest of my teeth while I was knocked out, but they took a tooth!!! I can’t believe my human let them do this to me. If that’s not bad enough, twice a day my human chases me, grabs me, and forces these 2 different tube things in my mouth and squirts in horrible tasting stuff. At least I get the tasty moist food now instead of that hard crunchy tasteless stuff. Not sure how long all this is gonna last. I hope the nasty liquid stuff ends soon, and the yummy food lasts forever.
